In order to have a genuine model photoshoot, experience taught me that no detail can be omitted. My clients come to me expecting a high level of... everything! They expect education, direction, information, and they count on me to tell them what and how to do what is needed to get the same level of images that brought them to me in the first place. From the pre-session prep to "it's a wrap", and the final edited images, they rightfully expect professional guidance and results.
In order to deliver those high-end experiences and images, we cannot cut corners. I insist on professional hair, makeup and wardrobe styling. In order to maintain quality and creative control, I require all of my clients to use the ACP Stylists whose work I know and trust, as they know exactly what I am looking for. WHERE DOES THE PHOTOSHOOT TAKE PLACE?
During our pre-planning communication, we will discuss what you have in mind and coordinate that with the locations I know, and have access to. Typically, we will shoot around Milton, Crabapple and Alpharetta, but we can fo elsewhere, also. If you have access to a great location, or even an amazing house you want to use, I am game! This is one of the benefits of working with a boutique photographer- we tailor your locations and every other detail of your session, to you!
DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO AND WHERE IS THE COUTURE CLOSET?
The Couture Closet is a huge hit with my clients! It is like going on a fun shopping spree and having the paparazzi follow you- all rolled up in one. The Couture Closet is in my home, which is located in Milton, GA. Although the wardrobe stylist and I can bring items to another location, we love to base our photoshoot from my home, so we have full access to the entire closet. This allows us to be fully creative as we move through your photoshoot.
ON THE DAY OF MY SESSION, WHAT TIME WILL WE START?
Your day will begin about 6 hours before sunset, starting with hair and makeup. For example, if the sun sets at 6pm, your hair and makeup will begin at noon. Plan to spend about an hour and half with the HMUA, followed by an hour with the stylist. Based on your pre-session consultation, she will work with your existing wardrobe and use items from our awesome Couture Closet to fill-in and elevate your session looks. After you have your looks finalized, you are ready to rock your photoshoot. Depending on the session tier you booked, your session will last between 1.5 to 3 hours.
WHEN DO YOU SCHEDULE YOUR SESSIONS?
After I receive your session retainer fee, I will contact you with available session dates. I only take a limited number of clients, so I can pour my creative energy and provide a custom experience to each one. My sessions are in the afternoons, on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. The Saturday sessions tend to fill-up first, since there are so few Saturdays per month and weekend sessions are most in demand. So, if you think you will want a Saturday session, you will want to book yours 6-8 months in advance.
WILL YOU HELP ME POSE?
Absolutely! I will coach you and teach you how to bring out your own fun side, edgy side, girl next door or supermodel sides... I will even demonstrate so you will know exactly how to move and show you sneak peeks of your images in my camera. You will know and see what looks good and what we need to tweak. Before I was ever behind the lens, I spent years of my youth in front of it. This experience really gives me an understanding of what it is like to be in your shoes, and how important my role is to help you get comfortable in front of the camera and bring out your best!
I HAVE SOME IDEAS FOR PICTURES I WOULD LOVE TO GET. CAN WE DO SOME OF THOSE?
During the pre-planning process for your session, you can jot down ideas or save photos of the images you want. In the industry, this is called a shot-list. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. When you see an image you like, or you pulled together a great outfit one day, just take a selfie or make a note about it and let me know- we will use that as creative inspiration.
HOW CAN I BOOK MY SESSION WITH YOU?
The best thing you can do is book your session at least 6 months in advance. I am typically booked by Spring, so the earlier, the better. This also gives us plenty of time to get you ready so you arrive at your photoshoot well prepared and stress-free.
Once you decide to book your session with me, please submit the non-refundable $500 session retainer fee via Venmo or PayPal (PayPal fee applies). Once I receive your retainer payment, I will contact you with available session dates.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
The $500 session retainer fee is due via Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal (there is a PayPal fee). The retainer fee is non-refundable and will be credited to your total balance due.
The minimum A La Carte order amount of $750, or the All Inclusive Session fee (starts at $2000), is due 15 days prior to your session. This is payable by check, cash or any of the methods listed above.

With Alise Cua you are working with a top industry photographer whose style has been forged over a decade photographing actors and models, and being critiqued by the top talent agents and casting directors. With ALL INCLUSIVE sessions that include digital images, as well as collections that include custom premiere products- one of the four collections with suit your wants!
Session Retainer Fee covers the time and creative talent of the stylists and photographer. It does not include your images or products. All prints, products and digital images are purchased separately. ACP offers four portrait collections to choose from, designed to give you everything you want. Senior Portrait Collections start at $950 for guys and $1500 for girls. Approximately one week after your session, we will have a private reveal and ordering session.
