ARTIST BIOGRAPHY 

Alise Cua was born in Bucharest, Romania behind the Iron Curtain. Her family sought political asylum to the USA when she was 10 years old. Having spent her formative years living in a Communist regime, Alise  bridged an enormous cultural and political gap. Her unique perspective permeates her work.

 
She began photographing as a child, and continued to do so for friends and family for many years, eventually turning one of her passions into a successful business. Alise started in front of the camera as a young girl and has been involved in the fashion and advertising industry since.  

 A two time graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Doctorate from the College of Veterinary Medicine, Alise worked as a veterinary doctor, then left the practice of medicine to work for Merck and Co, and finally on to pursue her love of the visual and performing arts. 

 She currently photographs  Atlanta's models/actors, and works with her business clients to develop visual identity and advertisements from concept to copy.

Alise integrates her superb creative abilities, lessons learned from years in front of the camera, business acumen,  Corporate America experience and clear communication, with a keen sense of personal style, integrity, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm --  into a completely unique blend of fabulous, which  translates into her work.

A European City girl gone American Hunt Country, she currently resides in pastoral Milton Ga with her 3 children, 4 dogs, 17 chicken,  a rooster, a turtle and a very patient husband.
